Escape from Poverty
Goals & Objectives
We partner with churches, civic organizations, and businesses to provide life skills classes, mentors, and budget counselors to impoverished families within small-group settings. The impoverished participants and their volunteers attend these classes weekly for 8 months, broken into 2, 4-month, semesters. They participate by doing activities and assignments with their mentors which build supportive, encouraging relationships while practically applying lessons taught.
Ignite hope and transformation by empowering impoverished families to escape from poverty by providing life skills classes, mentoring, support, accountability, and motivation within a faith-based community environment.
