Help Horses Heal Humans "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of man." I wonder if Winston Churchill thought his statement would continue to be quoted to this day. The brightening face of a frail elderly person as they see a miniature horse inside the nursing home, the wheelchair bound child who walks because a miniature horse will walk with her, and a teenager with Autism who smiles at the sight of a miniature horse all support Winston Churchill's claim. Horses do heal. Donating to the horses makes a huge difference to the people they heal.

Fuzzy Therapy Miniature Horses

Fuzzy Therapy Miniature Horses, Inc. is raising money to purchase a horse trailer. Riding in the backseat of a pickup truck, only one miniature horse can visit at a time. Two or more horses could visit with a horse trailer! The more people each horse can help the more we reach our goal of bringing smiles to as many people as we possibly can.

Garet's Place is for continuity to create synergy with our efforts to help families and parents that lose children unexpectedly in tragic deaths. We work with families (parents particularly) in their rawest hours immediately following their funeral services to help friends and families get back to "normal". I help as a parent that has walked the path, not as a trained grief specialist.

Garet's Place

To raise money to support families working through the grieving process immediately after an unexpected death in the family.

The Country Friends is a nonprofit organization formed 66 years ago to provide needed funding for San Diego County-based charities. Its mission is “Helping San Diegans since 1954: One Hand at a Time.” The organization raises funds primarily through the Art of Fashion, and proceeds from its Rancho Santa Fe consignment shop, which specializes in exquisite furniture, antiques, rugs, silver, china and objets d’art. Since its founding, The Country Friends has raised nearly $14 million to support human care agencies with special emphasis on services to women, children, the elderly, and those with disabilities.

The Country Friends Legacy Campaign

Please join us in our Legacy campaign to raise $1,000,000 This will allow The Country Friends to pay off the construction loan that created our beautiful Consignment Shop and establish an endowment fund to continue to help those most in need and to support even more Human Care Agencies.
